I am so happy to report that after first tweeting and posting our new fundraising efforts for My So Called Kindle Life Kares we have already had people and even one publisher donate to our schools. Every cent will be spent on books, ebooks, ebook readers, and book related materials.
The schools on the Cumberland Plateau of Southern Appalachia are in dire economic need. The students come from families on the lowest rung of the socio-economic scale. An amazing number of parents are unable to read. We hope our efforts will reach the entire family. We are starting small and hope to grow big!
