I have to say, after last week's big release list I was excited to see so many new releases this week. And, as you know this list is never complete. Please feel free to message me with any books you know of that are to be released.

I have been waiting for the release of Folly Beach by Dorthea Benton Frank, one of my favorite authors. However, I was surprised to find a book that I had not heard about on the new release list - A Young Wife - by Pam Lewis. This book looks fabulous. It is set at the turn of the century, the 19th century, and takes readers on a global tour from Europe to South America to New York. I am definitely downloading this one today and will let you know if it is as good as the early reviews sound.

David Balducci is the thriller king but has released a hot summer read today called One Summer. Reviewers say if you are going to read one book this summer this should be it. Let's get real - who reads just one book during the summer? It is tagged as a family drama set in South Carolina with survival, friendship, and sacrifice. Yummy.

Now, what did you miss last week? The release list was long. I downloaded several new ebooks on my kindle when I went out of town. As usual, I went back and forth between them all. Isn't that why we love our Kindle's? I never have to pack an extra bag for books. I have my Kindle and a backup with my iphone. Love it!

Summer Rental by Mary Kay Andrews was big on my list and was released just in time for me to download to my Kindle. It is different than her previous books and is taking me a little longer to get into. While her other books are packed full of southern humor and hi jinks this one is taking a different turn. It is about three women - friends from way back - who go to the Outer Banks for a month to reconnect. Yes, there are a lot of women/beach/reconnecting books out there. But this Mary Kay. I have to give her a chance. I will give you my final yea or nay when I finish later this week.
